Computer Vision Security Analytics documentation
This project documents a safe portfolio demonstration for security analytics. It avoids using real camera footage and instead uses demo event metadata to explain how computer-vision signals can become operational decisions.
Architecture
The demo follows a structured flow from data input to detection/analysis, human review, and reporting output.

The project uses demo sample data stored in data/synthetic/cv_security_events_sample.json. The fields are created for demonstration only and do not represent any real client, site, donor, beneficiary, or operational file.
Quality controls
- Uses demo event records only.
- Separates detection signal from human decision-making.
- Shows risk score and recommended action for auditability.
- Avoids face recognition, identification, or sensitive biometric claims.
Limitations and production upgrade path
The sandbox is a conceptual front-end demonstration. A production system would require authorised camera integration, model validation, privacy impact assessment, access controls, incident management integration, and ongoing false-positive monitoring.
